Seller reneged on their auction of a sports card 3 weeks after I had won, because he did not want to comply with eBay’s authentication policy. The policy, totally outside the control of the buyer, requires the seller to send the card to PSA to ensure the card is authentic and has not been tampered with before receiving money. It takes 1-2 extra days. This seller was adamantly opposed to having his card scrutinized and instead decided to not honor his obligations.
