It is a little thin to do a lot of good, but I didn't get it to actually keep me warm, I got it because it is funny. It does keep me warm enough, though, down here in Louisiana. I would recommend it and buy it again. I should actually go on and buy several now for gifts for my friends that have that sense of humor.
