Product Information
Andrea Carson is only 15 years old but she has already felt the constriction of gender roles in American society. An avid motocross racing fan, Andrea longs to compete in the sport herself, but her father won't allow her. Unfortunately, she can only live vicariously through her twin brother Andrew, a skilled amateur rider who has a shot at getting a sponsorship in an upcoming race. However, when Andrew is injured before the big race, Andrea comes up with a scheme to pass herself off as Andrew, allowing her a taste of the life she has dreamed of. Soon, though, Andrea finds that her ruse may be more difficult to sustain than she thought as she finds herself attracted to a fellow racer and under suspicion from her family.
