Almost certainly NOT a genuine 1N34 diode. Almost certainly NOT a germanium diode either.
My guess is that it is a Schottky diode. It will probably work in my circuit so I'll keep them. The give-away is almost zero reverse current leakage and the forward voltage drop is about 300mV. THis is what you would expect of a Schottky diode not a germanium one.
