The Sony Handycam arrived working as described, pretty nearly as complete as the kit I bought new ages before. They thoughtfully included cables needed to get the video out to a modern digital projector / display (via HDMI, for example). The camera tape transport seems to work quite well, after running 5 of my own Mini-DV cassettes, I was able to digitize the analog VGA video + audio output via my own video capture external (an Elgato).
