First off, I really like helmet and it looks good and it's light weight and I like the fact that it has a built in sunvisor and a snap on but not a DOT helmet. Helmet says DOT on leather strap but that's not legal spot nor did it have a rating or meet any specifications. That kind of information would be on a DOT sticker and stuck to helmet not stamped on a leather strap. So, technically it's illegal to wear in most states. Last but not least it has a cheap plastic shelll not a fiberglass one.
