    I have, with this adapter, three Shoten adapters. I have three because they are excellent in construction, fit, and use. Yesterday when my Nikon F to Leica M converter arrived I took my Leica M-E with a 50mm f2.4 Elmarit lens out to make comparison pictures. The focus of the Shoten adapter matched exactly with that of the native Leica lens on the Leica M-E. I am now eyeing the Leica R to Leica M adapter. I am sure that some point I will succumb and buy one.
