By 'heroic' I mean just that because on July 2, 1863 at Gettysburg the roughly 262 members of the unit conducted a bayonet charge against 1,500 fired up rebels. They paid dearly and the Company rosters you'll find in the book will show you their casualty rate as well as the casualty rates of other prominent battles.”
