Mac, a kind and gentle Belgian horse loves everything about nature. Most of all, he enjoys reading books about butterflies along with exploring the farm's fields with his best friend, Marigold. Mac and Marigold must depend on each other as they follow these butterflies through a neighboring dairy farm. Marigold encourages Mac to believe in himself as he must jump fences, creeks, and logs to reach the butterflies. Thus, these magical and incredible butterflies take Mac and Marigold on an adventure of a lifetime. This is Halverson's sixth storybook. A portion of all book proceeds benefits a particular study on equine protozoal myeloencephalitis at the University of Kentucky Maxwell H. Gluck Equine Research Center.
