Hello. I'm sorry you were disappointed in your purchase. I would like to find out more about what was on the doll and in the box. When working with the other dolls, I noticed the glue that holds the velcro to the doll's head was melting and getting on the dolls.The dolls have been stored in the garage and the heat may have caused the glue to soften. Also, the rubber bands in their hair fall apart when stretched due to age. Could either of these things have caused the substance on the doll?
