Instead of taking care and shipping it in a cardboard box it instead was shipped in the ORIGINAL BOX, like the one you see on the store shelf. The structural integrity of a Gundam model kit box is NOT suitable for shipping. This was meant to be a gift and was damaged in shipping. The only upside is everything appears in order in the box but that will be determined when it comes time to assemble the kit since there was no wrapping around the box showing it to be new.
