In 1978 Mugler opened his first boutique in Paris and soon he won the hearts of many people with his distinctive fashion style. He is widely praised for his fragrance trend launched in the 1990s. Thierry Mugler’s first perfume, named Angel, appeared in 1992 and was admitted to the Fifi Awards Hall of Fame in 2007.
