The seller did point out that a previous buyer had problems with the AM band, while the seller checked it out, and stated that the sound came in loud and clear. The mid to upper AM bands do not come at all, so the radio is definitely defective. I haven't decided whether to make a claim with eBay or even if I can make a claim.
