Here's a so-called super-sports bike that weighs only about as much as three sacks of cement, packs a minimum of 124bhp (91kW) and in later versions as much as 180bhp (132kW), accelerates from standstill to 130mph (200kph) in around 10 seconds (with the front wheel in the air for most of the time), and will then rocket to around 170mph (275kph) or more.Using colour photography throughout, this new Ultimate Buyers' Guide aims not to add to the burden of the would-be CBR buyer, but substantially to lighten it. It doesn't aim to theorise and pontificate about the bike's origins, or even what might have been going through designer Tadao Baba's mind when he came up with the idea.Within these pages, there is nothing but hard facts painstakingly gleaned from acknowledged CBR experts - and from CBR owners, too.
