Unfortunately I did not adequately explore the availability of a cable/wire to connect the monitor to my computer. So, I have no idea if it works or not. One strange thing is that the packing material included foam from another computer, a garment bag, a laundry bag and some other stuff. It was in a Chewy box.

The monitor works fine! As far as the packing goes, I packed the item very good so it wouldn't get damaged and all those little things kept it safe, I was in the middle of a move so that explains all the strange packing! LOL! Pick up a computer cable and you'll have a fine little monitor!
