part arrived quickly covered in paint thick as coal tar. no problem. installing Saturn overdrive in jeep with 420 muncie GM 4 speed trans.. had to revamp and fabricate all of the shift linkage. I did not like the polished stainless steel shift cane that came in the kit I will modify lever and use it instead. it has a nice taper, forged patina. it will look like original
