- r***s (14)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThe black patina on the axehead went off 4 days after receiving the axe by means of an oil drop, the patina started to peel off very fast, the resulting finish in the axehead was really ugly so I tried to bluing it with no avail which makes me think that the axehead is not carbon steel as advertised by the manufacturer, I have tried several mehods for creating the patina on it but no results were good so I ended sanding the metal to a rustic finish, but now it doesn't resemble the official axe
