I was disappointed to find that while this was labeled as a new item, it seemed to be falsely described as such. The plush was covered in multiple brown stains (chocolate? Coffee?). These stains were not mentioned in the description and only discernible in the photos with hindsight. Fortunately, they seem to have scrubbed away with water. Had it been cleaned prior to shipping, I would have been none the wiser and assumed it was actually new!
