The cedar was wet on arrival not sure if it was shipped wet or got wet in transit. Perhaps I was expecting too much as all but one piece had large knots and one piece had a shake (split along the centre). I have used most of it but was anticipating higher quality.

Our British cedar is freshly cut from recently felled UK cedar trees and shipped green (wet), as specified in our advert. Known for its stability, it can be fitted while wet. The natural, characterful knots are a hallmark of British cedar and were clearly illustrated in our advert.
For those seeking different quality, we offer imported Clear & Better grade kiln-dried alternatives at a substantially higher price. Standard & Better grade UK Cedar allows up to 10% workable defects like splits.
