The story of 25 years of Volvo Bus in the UK has been written by Doug Jack who has known the company as competitor, bodybuilder, dealer and consultant - in that order! He has enjoyed full co-operation from Volvo Bus and looks at the products, personalities and strategies in a lively and informative manner. Using largely previously unpublished colour photographs including many from the company's unique collection, and working once again with John Senior, with additional photographic input from David Cole and Tony Wilson amongst others, he has produced another book every bus enthusiast will want to add to his or her collection alongside `Beyond Reality' and `The Leyland Bus'. Technical data plus customer details make a superb reference book. Published in the same style as these previous titles it contains almost 200 large pictures in full colour, plus line drawings and specifications covering the range of chassis produced since the first Ailsa of 1972. Many illustrations come from Volvo and bodymakers' archives showing vehicles in build as well as in service. Appendices include specifications and production tables.
