This beautiful and rare item was destroyed during shipping because of an shockingly inept wrapping job—imagine that a delicate bisque figurine was wrapped in a scant layer of bubble wrap and then plopped into a mailer box with NO additional padding or protection, so the item rattled around loosely and shattered during shipping. The vendor was very nice about his responsibility and refunded all costs; but it is incredible to me that someone dealing with fine antiques could be so utterly clueless.
