Product Information
A man found wandering at New York Central Station is taken into psychiatric care because he claims to be Prot from the planet K-PAX, "1,000 of your light years away". Psychiatrist Dr. Mark Powell doesn't believe him and tries to unlock the trauma, but as Prot reveals knowledge that only a handful of astronomers could know and shows an uncanny knack for helping his fellow patients heal, even Powell begins to wonder. Then clues that Prot lets slip under hypnosis lead Powell to a more earthly explanation, or so he thinks, in Iain Softley's assured, gripping sci-fi fantasy.
