Looking at the case I believe it is a 5 speed case and it has the option of fitting a neutral indicator gear light. The only year that Triumph fitted a neutral indicator light to a unit motor was 1979. This is what I was looking for and I am delighted with it. Delivery with your chosen carrier was also spot on.

Your item was great . Unfortunately, I spent a couple of hours on prep and ordered the tank colour to match as that's what I'd prefer. Gave them a coat of plastic primer followed by some ordinary primer. Stupidly , I didn't read the lable on the topcoat and I now have 3 coats of paint which are are a century mile away. Bank to sanding, filling and prep cos these have to be perfect because it's a birthday present. Such is life I suppose !
