Having studied Muso Jikiden Eishin-ryu Iaido under Masayuki Hidenobu Shimabukuro Hanshi as well as living in Japan, I am familar with Samurai swordsmanship and Japanese culture. Currently I am preparing my antique living swords for koshirae and am aquiring tsuba, fuchi kashira and menuki that reflect the spirit of each sword and my relationship to it. This tsuba was chosen over hundreds of others. It arrived well packed in a very reasonable amount of time with good communication from the seller.
