Ultimately, I still would have purchased the item, which is why I'm still giving four stars. I just would've offered a price instead of paying the listed price. I'll have to find some way of finding a silicone gasket to fit, attempt to alter the shape, or attach something to keep the top on. Otherwise, it's not usable with the top.
