The transaction and shipment were ok. When the universal remote control was delivered, the screen display showed it had power. Unfortunately, I delayed programming the remote for several weeks. Then I tried to turn it on and the display did not work properly. It lit up but no characters were displayed (the screen was blank). I replaced the batteries and it still did not work. I did not initiate a return since it was past the deadline.
