Item was new and complete, as advertised (even came with batteries and everything). I bought this with the intention of 3D printing the rest of the lightsaber and swapping out the crystal with another color from Galaxy's Edge – the chassis accepted and read the new crystal without a hitch and fit perfectly into the 3D printed parts I made for it. Would (and may well) buy another one!
