I'm using it to dispense stickers and it really only pulls one at a time. It's made of cardboard, so I could paint directly on it. It actually has some weight to it, so you can turn the knob with one hand easily without it sliding or moving it across the table. And you really don't need glue or tape for the actual build, only when it comes to putting the display frame and arrows.
