Seller notes: “his series isn't defective but has a very characteristic hand crafted feel about it - which means ... “his series isn't defective but has a very characteristic hand crafted feel about it - which means it is not a perfectly mass produced item and thus not to everyone's taste. Subtle differences between pieces (not design) - but each one differs in terms of patination. The finish is patinated which gives it a vintage appearance. The surface of the doll is a clear enamel/resin which has small surface imperfections done whilst being made (tiny surface scratches only visible upon close inspection) and tiny flecks in the clear enamel (hard to show in the photo as it really is minimal). They were all like this and actually it's part of their charm in this very old series. This stock has been kept from new in original bags with tags and must be well over 20 years old now!”
