Please listen to the video/soundfile & scroll down to see all detailed XXL photos below as part of the description! Nicely carved scroll and accurately inlaid purfling. This beautiful violin shows no open cracks or open seams, but surely some minor marks in its varnish. The table is finely grained spruce and the 2-piece back, as well as ribs and neck, is nicely flamed maple. Like always the instrument has been completely checked by our luthiers and by our violin player on playability. In our workshop it received new setup with newly fitted elder ebony pegs, ebony tailpiece, ebony chinrest, new bridge, new soundpost and new strings. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins, to allow a comparison of the tonality of each instrument in the videos. Measures aprox.: total 59,5 cm / 23.4", body 35,8 cm / 14.1", vibrating chord length 32,5 cm / 12.8", weight 412 gr / ~14.53 oz.”
