I am a size 10 but always buy up in swimwear . I bought this as a size 12 and it is a perfect fit.it is very comfortable to wear. It is described as being a shorty west suit suitable for swimming. It is not a swimming wetsuit and should not be described as such. However I believe that I am going to keep it as the water temperature in the Solent is currently increasing and the distance I am going to be swimming will be less than 2k and with a current assist I won’t be in the water for long.

I am happy to confirm that the primary function of any wetsuit is to be able to swim in it. Dictonary definition of use for wetsuits - shortie or full suit: Wetsuits are usually worn by swimmers, divers, or surfers who swim in colder water. Wetsuits insulate the swimmers, or help them retain body heat. This, in turn, helps the swimmers avoid hypothermia. Wetsuits also have a positive buoyancy which makes swimming easier.
