- h***2 (35)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchase“We had to get out of that place” is a decent read for anybody interested in Vietnam. I enjoyed the book thoroughly but found that the writer at times glazed over certain details whilst talking extensively about other things that really didn’t warrant so much detail such as his drug use before, during and after the conflict. I found that some of the stories were interesting but found myself longing for more context and exploration of these stories.
