Very beefy and well made for such a small package. Exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately didn't pay close attention and found out after I got it that I needed an adapter to take the 3/8 screw to a 1/4 to fit directly onto my camera without using a second ball head, as I bought this specifically for light travel. So be aware that if you get this to use as a tripod, you may need to get an adapter if you want to fit it directly to your camera.
