I keep buying more of these Duke cords. I haven't found any rivals. Bedford cord and needle cord trousers are good for year-through casual use and are particularly good if you're feeling a bit too old to continue wearing jeans. Black and dark grey are all the colours I want. They also wear well, have a decent medium fit for the average person, don't have too skinny or baggy legs, and they come in a full range of sizes. And they come with very usable fully adjustable belts.
