The tacker that I use for the subject staples is over 40 years old. I was having a problem finding stales for it that were (preferably) made in the USA. I found that I had to dismantle the tacker in order to clear a very stubborn jam involving some of the original staples. Although the replacement staples were about a mm shorter than the originals, once I reassembled the tacker and then tested the new staples, they worked just fine. So I'm very satisfied with the purchase.
