Nicely crafted instrument with masterly crafted scroll and accurately inlaid purfling on front and back. This beautiful violin shows no open cracks or open seams. The table is medium to fine grained spruce and the back - like ribs and neck - is intensely flamed maple. The violin was completely revised in our workshop and received new setup with newly fitted elder ebony pegs, new ebony tailpiece, new ebony chinrest, a new bridge, new soundpost and new strings. Measures aprox.: total 60 cm / 23.6”, body 36,3 cm / 14.2”, vibrating chord length 33 cm / 12.99”, weight 542 gr / ~19.12 oz. For further questions please feel free to ask.”
