An autobiography of the horse trainer, Jenny Pitman. At the age of 15 she joined a racing yard as a stable girl. Three years later she married jockey Richard Pitman (from whom she was later to separate from). Before long, Jenny had been granted a professional licence to train horses and had established herself in her own right as a fully-fledged trainer, and since then she has won numerous high-calibre races with famous horses like Garrison Savannah and Burrough Hill Lad.
