Seller notes: “This lot of antique vintage Fontaine pattern International Sterling silver flatware forks 7" set of ... “This lot of antique vintage Fontaine pattern International Sterling silver flatware forks 7" set of 8 date from between 1924 to 1950. It is made of Sterling silver with a heavy highly defined raised detail scrolling floral leaf Rococo style design in the beautiful "Fontaine" pattern designed by Frederick W. Stark made by the American founded International Silver Company and is now discontinued. Included are 8 matching 7" long forks with the monogrammed initial "S" engraved in the center cartouche handle and are stamped "Sterling Fontaine" on the backside. They are in good gently used condition with some slight faint scratches and have not been polished (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful lot of antique International Sterling silver flatware pieces.”
