Purchased 8 pieces listed as cabochons….all great material, but only three were usable cabs. The remainder are domed, smooth on the top but mostly hollow on the back, making them a touch more difficult to set, and more like chips than cabochons. Fairly disappointed in a purchase well over $1K….which isn’t a ton in gem world, but still. A thousand dollars is a thousand dollars. Got a “how did we do?” email, responded with “not great”……..crickets, haha. Lesson learned i guess.
