Actually much better than expected! We haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but we're excited to give it a go. We have owned an electric fryer, but because the element sits at the bottom of the oil, it gets coated with dirty, oily, gunk that WILL NOT come off. This one has removable oil pans as well as lids over the fryer pans, that should make the clean-up so much easier!
