However, although I am an engineer (long since retired) I was not at all able to configure it at 400 mm. One other problem I encountered concerns the tilt bracket. It had been attached upside down at the factory, so any television set would tilt up to the ceiling rather than down to your sofa. Fortunately I was able to dismantle it and refasten it the correct way round.
