It was nearly perfect. Well, I use it for oil colors and all that I can say is that it is wonderful. Keeps my paint fresh longer. I drop in a strip palette in the mixing area and when done with an outdoor painting session I just tear it off and throw it away. The lid I use as a brush tray at times. One of the best purchases that I have made.
