There is some wear consistent with age and use. The top is metal and is yellowish/orange in color. The inside of the lighter appears to be brass or bronze. The chamber where the fuel would go is stuck to the flint holder area. Perhaps you can get it off but it feels stuck to me. The wheel and wick looks fine but there is no flint present. This one will need some work but it is a unique design so I am offering it at no reserve. It is marked "MEB" in the monogram and "U.S' PATENT 1,022,140 GERMANY". Please carefully review all photos to fully examine the exact item you are purchasing.”
