Seller notes: “Up for auction is vintage R. Lalique Perfume bottle that was made for D’Orsay called Le Lys. Made ... “Up for auction is vintage R. Lalique Perfume bottle that was made for D’Orsay called Le Lys. Made in 4 sizes. This bottle was made from 1910s to the 1950s. This version is clear glass with no stain remaining on the flowers. Le Lys translates to Lily, however, people agree these flowers do not resemble a Lily. The glass stopper resembles the flowers on the front of the bottle. Note, the backside of the bottle is smooth glass. The stamen of the stopper reads: LE LYS D’ORSAY—see photo 6. The neck /rim of the bottle has a small 2/8 inch chip. You may be able to have it ground out, I have not tried. See last two photos for a photo of the chip. Bottle is 7 inches tall and 5 inches wide in the center of the bottle. Be sure and see the description for additional information and photos.”
