The first volume is lacking the initial 22 pp. plus front matter, the text starts on pp. 23.The first volume is also lacking pp. 291-302. Some blank endpapers have been added to the first volume, the first page of which contains a pencilled bookseller's notation in French. Text appears complete in volumes 2 and 3. Volumes 2 and 3 have some short splits along hinges, but bindings quite sound, and boards still well held. Includes 26 engraved plates, views and maps among the 3 volumes. I am not sure if this is the full number called for as I don't have the bibliographic information on this edition.”
