I was a bit dubious when the egg mandolin arrived as it had nylon strings as opposed to metal ones, like the one I remembered as a kid. But I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. It has a fine slice tool as well as a quarter tool. Good price and swift delivery. Recommend.
