Although the item may have been exactly as described, the shipping was not so good. Putting the lathe in a rectangular box with a couple "this end up" stickers on it was not enough to keep it from being damaged. Shipping an item from California to Maine should of been done by placing it on a small pallet to force the carrier to keep it upright. NOW, after contacting the seller showing the damage, I'm being told to file a claim with the carrier. Shouldn't be my responsibility. To time cosuming!!
