The screen is scratch free. One issue I found: the right thumbstick light is faulty. It occasionally turns off by itselft. This wasn't mentioned in the description. Initially, the light didn't want to turn on, only after a full reset (which I had to YT since the console wasn't reset on arrival), it started working intermittently. Aside from that, I'm happy with my purchase.
