I am transitioning back to salt and pepper. I wear my long hair up in a pony tail and the front part which is off my face was a light-dark grey while the pony tail had some brassy brown tones. Achieved an excellent result. The grey at the front has darkened to a steely, tonal grey and my pony tail is dark charcoal. I have bi-racial hair so the product is drying for me but so worth it, hopefully it will last for a few washes at this standard. I left it on for an hour.
