This is a great tool. It's a bit slow to show a reading at times. The available scales stop down to 5V. But then there's a sub-menu item that will switch to 500mV AC & DC. Its reading compare favorably with a much more expensive 5.5-digit DVM. I like the battery operation so it can be floating at a higher voltage than with the AC powered unit. The PC software is a bit of a pain to install but works. Unfortunately the data logging format is incompatible with Excel (ex. -1.234VDC s/b -1.234).Enjoy
